I have the incredible blessing of spending a great deal of time with individuals who have lived many years and to spend much of the rest of my time with youth. It is awesome to have that opportunity because I learn so much from both age groups. My life is enriched by the time I spend with them. Here are just a few of the things I have learned:
Life isn’t about who a person is but about how a person loves. Love can change a life and heart and mind. True love and compassion is never ending. It is not about who the person is, it is about loving them the same no matter who they are.
It is not when a physical body is struck down or facing adversity that a person is limited…it is when the spirit feels no compassion and hope to encourage them to go on.
While money may make the world go round, the truly important things in life don’t cost anything. When facing real troubles in life it is the love and compassion of those around us that really get us through. Sure it is great to have money and not worry about finances but a big bank account doesn’t bring the fulfillment, peace and comfort of compassion, love and true happiness and success in life.
